Causes and Symptoms of Fall Allergies

There are many umpteen people who are suffering from plethora of allergies that become active during the fall. There are diverse types of allergies that have different symptoms, causes and repercussions on people. They make people feel really miserable as the pollen from flowers is present in the air from spring and summer, umpteen people might need to be caution on this matter.
What are the primary reasons for Fall Allergies?
Most of the male species of plants discharge minute cells in the air that are called pollen which helps them to have children. The pollen grains or other particles that travel easily in the air penetrate the noses of people that generate irritation. The immune system has identified these particles as aliens and thus discharges antibodies that basically attack any virus, bacteria or illness provoking germs.
The antibodies also attack the pollen grains which cause irritation in the nose and also result in developing fall allergies as well. A chemical substance called histamine is discharged in the blood and this stimulates a running nose, watery and itchy eyes and the other common symptoms of allergies.
What is Ragweed?
The fall season is characterized by the greatest allergy stimulant called the ragweed. Ragweed is the yellow color flower weed which initiates the process of pollination in the month of August and it continues in the fall as well. Large parts of the population that is allergic to the pollen produced by the spring and summer plants are generally allergic to ragweed as well. Ragweed pollen grains are extremely light and easily travel for hundreds of miles because of the wind and will make you feel awful.
Other particles that cause fall allergies
Molds sustain in mushy areas and are great wrongdoers the spores are airborne and travels for miles because of the gusty wind. Molds are visible both in and out of the house. The accumulated damp leaves on the streets are the place where they multiply in number.
Dust mites are miniscule insects which are very similar to the spiders. Dust mites are very popular inner allergy trigger. Prevalence of dust mites is during the hot months and if they invade your nose you are sure to sneeze and suffer from a sticky and running nose.
Children target during the fall months
Children start a new academic year at school during the fall. Going back to school makes them vulnerable as they spend a lot of time outdoors. It is also the best time for them to be susceptible to allergies that are dominating the air they breathe. Even chalk dust which easily floats in the air results in children sneezing and even suffering from disease like asthma.
Children are allergic to diverse varieties of food as well. Food allergies are rampant during the fall months. Children often eat at the school cafeteria and imbibe milk, eggs and peanut butter which may result in causing severe allergies. The Halloween season also sees a lot of kids developing allergies as they allergic to nuts and other food products.
